Verner Panton Tray

An otherworldly object with daily, useful function, by a designer in MoMA’s collection.

Imagine a piece of paper that’s been crumpled, gently unfolded and then rendered in mirror-polished stainless steel. That’s what you get with this elegant Panton Tray, a 1988 design from Verner Panton. Use it as a catch-all or simply display it as an artful object. The tray is also food-safe and can be used to serve snacks and canapes. Hand wash recomemnded. Both Verner Panton and the tray’s manufacturer, Georg Jensen, are represented in MoMA’s collection. The Verner Panton Tray measures 1.2h x 6.9w x 5.7"d.
